Vi Khi Nao was born in Long Khánh, Vietnam. She is the author of Sheep Machine (Black Sun Lit, 2018), Umbilical Hospital (1913 Press, 2017), the story collection A Brief Alphabet of Torture, which won FC2’s Ronald Sukenick Innovative Fiction Prize in 2016, the novel Fish In Exile (Coffee House Press, 2016), and The Old Philosopher, which won the Nightboat Books Prize for Poetry in 2014. She holds an MFA in Fiction from Brown University, where she received the John Hawkes and Feldman Prizes in Fiction and the Kim Ann Arstark Memorial Award in Poetry.

Vernon Keeve III is a Virginia born writer that California molded into an educator. He lives and teaches in Oakland. His purpose is to teach the next generation the importance of relaying their personal narratives, sharing their experiences, and taking control of their destinies. He holds a MFA from California College of the Arts, and a Masters in Teaching Literature from Bard College.

Writer and artist Steven Seidenberg is the author of Situ (Black Sun Lit, 2018), Itch (RAW ArT Press, 2014), Null Set (Spooky Actions Books, 2015), and numerous chapbooks of verse and aphorism, including Duration Knows No Law (ypolita press, 2016). He is co-editor of the three issues of pallaksch.pallaksch. (Instance Press, 2014-2018), is a member of the Right Window artists collective, and has most recently shown his visual work at the Museo dell’Altro e dell’Altruve Metropoliz, in Rome. His collections of photographs include Pipevalve: Berlin (Lodima Press, 2017) and Choshi (Littlefield's, 2017).

Caroline Kessler is a poet, editor, and author of Ritual in Blue (Sutra Press, 2018). She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Washington University in St. Louis and was a 2017-18 Dorot Fellow in Israel. One of the co-creators of Index/Fist, a collective that makes handmade magazines, she lives in Oakland.

Steven Seidenberg is the author of Itch (RAW ArT Press), Null Set (Spooky Actions Books) and Songs of Surrender (Gummi-Geliebter Verlag). He co-edits the poetry journal pallaksch.pallaksch., and is curator of poetry events and publications at The Lab in San Francisco. 

Alli Warren is the author of Don't Go Home With Your Heart On (Faux Press, 2014) and Here Come the Warm Jets (City Lights Books, 2013). Her chapbooks include Grindin’ (Lew Gallery, 2011), Acting Out (Editions Louis Wain, 2010), 

and Well-Meaning White Girl (Mitzvah Chaps, 2009). Alli lives in Oakland, where she edits Dreamboat magazine and coedits Hearts Desire Press.

Susan Gevirtz’s books of poetry include AERODROME ORION & Starry Messenger (Kelsey Street, 2010); BROADCAST (Trafficker, 2009); Thrall (Post Apollo, 2007); and HourglassTranscripts (Burning Deck, 2001). Her critical books are Narrative’s Journey: The Fiction and Film Writing of Dorothy Richardson (Peter Lang, 1996) and Coming Events (Collected Writings) from Nightboat in 2013. Susan teaches at CCA and has co-organized the annual translation and conversation meeting of The Paros Symposium with Greek poet Siarita Kouka, and guest organizers Helen Dimos, Eleni Stecopoulos, and Liana Sakelliou for nine years.

Elizabeth Robinson is the author, most recently, of the poetry collections BlueHeron, Counterpart, and Three Novels.  Her mixed genre meditation, On Ghosts, is a finalist for the Los Angeles Times book award. Robinson has been the recipient of grants from the Fund for Poetry, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and the Boomerang Foundation.  She co-edits Instance Press and the literary periodical pallaksch.pallaksch.

Steven Seidenberg is a San Francisco based writer and artist. His first book of lyric, philosophical prose, Itch, was released from RAW ArT Press in January 2014. He is the author of three chapbooks of poetry, including Songs of Surrender, and most recently, Null Set from Spooky Actions Books. He is co-editor of the poetry journal pallaksch.pallaksch.

Donna Stonecipher is the author of three books of poetry, most recently The Cosmopolitan (winner of the National Poetry Series, published by Coffee House Press, 2008).  She lives in Berlin, where she translates from German and French; her translation of Ludwig Hohl's novella Ascent was published by Black Square Editions in 2012. She is currently a visiting assistant professor at the University of Iowa.
